[HISTORY: Adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasantville 6-7-1982 by Ord. No. 11-1982 as Ch. 81 of the 1982 Code. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The buildings situate within the city upon the respective streets, avenues, highways and alleys thereof shall be numbered as designated upon the Tax Map of the city filed in the office of the Collector of Taxes of the city.
The owners of such buildings shall cause the same to be numbered with the numbers prominently displayed in accordance with the numbers so assigned as aforesaid.
Any person violating or failing to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $1,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days and/or a period of community service not exceeding 90 days. Each day such violation is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable as such.
