No person shall willfully or maliciously, without
the consent of the owner thereof, tamper with, break, injure or otherwise
destroy or damage in any way any of the posts, poles, cables, wires,
fixtures, antennas, amplifiers or other apparatus, materials, equipment
or appliances of any television coaxial cable system or microwave
radio system or community antenna television system or tap or connect,
directly or indirectly, by wire or any other means whatsoever into,
to or with any such television coaxial cable system or microwave radio
system or community antenna television system so as to make use of,
hear, observe or be in a position to make use of, hear, observe or
enable any other person to make use of, hear, observe or be in a position
to make use of, hear or observe for any use or purpose whatsoever
any message, picture or signal going over any such cable or system
aforementioned or to receive or enable or assist any other person
to receive any unauthorized service over any such cable or system
aforementioned.

Any person violating any of the provisions of
this article shall, upon conviction thereof in the Municipal Court
of the City of Pleasantville, be punished for each offense by a fine
of not less than $100 nor more than $1,000, imprisonment for any term
not exceeding 90 days in the county jail, or in any place provided
by the municipality for the detention of prisoners, and/or a period
of community service for a period not exceeding 90 days.
