A.
There is hereby established a system of truck routes within the City. All trucks having a gross weight in excess of four tons shall be excluded from all streets in the City except the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule VI (§ 278-37), attached to and made a part of this chapter, which form a part of the system of truck routes upon which trucks are permitted to travel and operate.
B.
Nothing within this section shall be construed as preventing such
trucks from making deliveries of merchandise or other property along
streets from which such trucks are excluded or as excluding from any
street in the City any trucks used by public utility companies in
connection with the construction, installation, operation or maintenance
of public utility facilities.
C.
Notwithstanding this section, trucks having a gross weight in excess
of four tons shall be excluded from travelling on Ansley Boulevard
from Main Street to Franklin Boulevard.
