[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees
of the Village of Northport 9-4-1979 by L.L. No. 13-1979 (Ch. 3A of
the 1966 Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]
The Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village
of Northport finds that the enforcement of various codes, ordinances,
local laws, resolutions and rules and regulations will be made more
efficient and effective by authorizing various employees of the Village
charged with the enforcement of said codes, ordinances, local laws,
resolutions and rules and regulations to issue appearance tickets
for violations thereof. This local law is enacted pursuant to § 10,
Subdivision (4)a, of the Municipal Home Rule Law of the State of New
York.
The following public servants are herewith authorized
to issue appearance tickets for violations of various codes, ordinances,
local laws, resolutions and rules and regulations as indicated:

Code Compliance Director, Assistant Code Compliance
Director, Building Inspector and Village Administrator.

The Chief of Police of the Incorporated Village
of Northport is herewith authorized to promulgate the form of appearance
