Upon the written request of a local hospital
pursuant to § 1640-a of the Vehicle and Traffic Law, the
members of the City of Schenectady Police Department are authorized
to issue appearance tickets for unlawful parking in established fire
lanes on hospital premises with the same penalties provided for such
violations on City streets.
