It shall be unlawful to leave any abandoned, unattended or discarded icebox, refrigerator or other container of any kind outside of any building or dwelling in a place accessible to children without first removing the door or doors from such icebox, refrigerator or other container.

Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine not exceeding $250 or be imprisoned for a term not exceeding 15 days, or both. Each day that a violation of this chapter shall continue shall constitute a separate offense.
