A. 
Intent. It is the intent of the City Council to supplement the enforcement of parking rules and regulations in the parks of the City of Schenectady.
B. 
Superintendent of Parks and Recreation; appearance tickets. The Superintendent of Parks and Recreation shall authorize park watchmen of the City of Schenectady to issue appearance tickets for parking violations relating to safety, public welfare and the preservation of the park lands.
C. 
Effect on duties of police officers. Nothing contained in this article shall abrogate or diminish the duties and powers of the police officers of the City of Schenectady already invested in them by any other law.
