There is hereby incorporated into the City Code
of Ordinances all of the provisions of Article 2, § 14-f,
of the Transportation Law of the State of New York, entitled "Transportation
of hazardous materials," and Title 17 NYCRR Part 507, entitled "Transportation
of Hazardous Materials" and all amendments and changes thereto which
may be enacted or made hereafter.
There is hereby incorporated into the City Code
of Ordinances all of the provisions of Article 6, § 136
et seq., of the Transportation Law of the State of New entitled "Matters
Relating to All Motor Carriers" and all amendments and changes thereto
which may be enacted or made hereafter.
There is hereby incorporated into the City Code
of Ordinances all of the provisions of Title 17 NYCRR Part 820 of
the transportation regulations of the state as promulgated under Article
6, § 140, of the Transportation Law of the State of New
York, entitled "Safety requirements," and all amendments and changes
thereto which may be enacted or made hereafter.

NOTES:
Notice of corrections (see **farm-plated vehicles)
Fix-it provisions, do not apply to paperwork violations, the operation
of an out-of-service vehicle or out-of-service violations pertaining
to brakes, steering, load security or coupling devices. Fix-it provisions
do not apply to any out-of-service violations under § 14-f,
Transportation Law.

*Surcharges. A person must pay the following
surcharges in addition to the fine if convicted of the charge:

(a)

Felony: $150.
|
(b)
|
Misdemeanor: $85.
|
(c)
|
Violation: $40.
|
(d)
|
Additionally, all convicted persons must pay
a $5 crime victims assistance fee.
|
**Farm-plated vehicles are allowed a three-business-day
fix-it provision to reduce the fine in out-of-service violations or
have a ticket dismissed in non-out-of-service violations.
