[Adopted 1-13-1969 as Ch. 11, Art. I, of the 1969 Code]
William H. Specht, a certified public accountant and member of the firm of Hosack, Specht, Muetzel and Wood, of the County of Allegheny and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, shall be and he is hereby appointed an Auditor of the Borough of Oakmont, in accordance with the provisions of Clause VII of Section 1005 of the Borough Code, as amended by Act No. 116 approved July 3, 1963,[1] who shall act in addition to and not in place of the present constituted Auditors of said Borough, and shall be subject to and shall do and perform all the powers and duties of a Borough Auditor as in said amended Act more particularly set forth.

The initial fixed salary or compensation for said Auditor shall be $1,100 per annum and shall be paid out of Borough funds.
The office of elected Borough Auditor in the Borough of Oakmont is hereby abolished, provided that the Borough Auditors now in office shall continue to hold their office for the respective unexpired term to which elected or until such time as they may have resigned prior thereto, and upon termination of the respective office of each of the present Auditors in the manner aforesaid, the office of such respective Auditor shall terminate, as provided by said Act No. 116.[1]
