[Adopted 1-13-1969 as Ch. 70, Art. II, of the 1969 Code]
A. 
Hereafter, any person, firm or corporation desiring to do the work hereinafter specified, in the Borough of Oakmont, shall be required before beginning the same to secure a written permit therefor from the Borough Secretary or Borough Manager, having first paid to the Borough Secretary or Borough Manager a fee as follows:
(1) 
Cutting curbstone, concrete or improved curb for each driveway, per foot: as set from time to time by resolution of the Borough Council.
B. 
No permit shall be issued for driveways in excess of 36 feet in width.
Any person, firm or corporation desiring to cut a curb or curbs for driveways in said Borough of Oakmont shall submit to the Borough Secretary of the Borough of Oakmont a detailed plan or plans in triplicate, indicating the location and size of each opening, which plans must be approved by the Street Committee of or appointed by the Oakmont Borough Council, which Street Committee may, at its discretion, refer the matter for investigation to the Street Commissioner or Borough Engineer or to the Borough Council for final approval.
Any person, firm or corporation or employee or agent thereof violating the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine not to exceed $600 and costs of prosecution and, in default of payment thereof, be sentenced to the Allegheny County Jail for a period not to exceed 30 days.
