The width of driveways between curbs on forty-foot streets be and the same is hereby fixed at 20 feet, 10 feet on either side of the center line of the street.
Footwalks on forty-foot streets shall be four feet wide, the inside edge being one foot outside of the property line and the outside edge five feet inside of the curbline.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable by a fine of not more than $600, plus costs of prosecution, and in default of payment of such fine and costs by imprisonment for not more than 30 days.
