That a certain document, three copies of which are on file in the Office of Code Enforcement of Ridley Township, being marked and designated as the International Residential Code, 2009 edition, including all Appendix chapters, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Residential Code of Ridley Township, in the State of Pennsylvania, for regulating and governing the construction, alteration, movement, enlargement, replacement, repair, equipment, location, removal and demolition of detached one- and two-family dwellings and multiple single-family dwellings (townhouses) not more than three stories in height with separate means for egress as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Residential Code on file in the Office of Code Enforcement are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this article, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in § 92-13 of this article.

That Chapter 92 of the Code of the Township of Ridley, entitled Building Construction and Floodplain Management, which portions of that chapter equal or exceed the requirements of this code shall continue in full force and effect until such time as such provisions fail to equal or exceed the minimum requirements of this code, as amended from time to time; otherwise any parts in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
