There is hereby imposed upon each sewer rental unit located
within the City served by the sewerage system and having the use thereof
sewer rents or charges payable as hereinafter provided for the use,
whether direct or indirect, of the sewerage system as follows:
A.Â
Effective
July 1, 2015, each residential unit: $360 per annum for the calendar
year 2015 (to be billed in two equal installments of $180 per 1/2
year) and until such time as this section may be further supplemented
or amended.
B.Â
Each commercial unit, industrial unit and religious unit: $390 per
annum for the calendar year (to be billed in two equal installments
of $195 per 1/2 year) and until this section may be further supplemented
or amended, plus $4.50 per 1,000 gallons of water used, determined
as hereinafter provided, in excess of 75,000 gallons per annum.

If two or more sewer rental units of any classification are connected to the sewerage system through a single lateral or building sewer or if a building or structure contains two or more sewer rental units of any classification, the minimum sewer rents and charges payable under Part 2 of this chapter shall be determined and computed separately for each such sewer rental unit under § 288-52 with the same effect as if each such sewer rental unit were a separate property or user with a separate connection to the sewerage system. Any additional sewer rents and charges for water usage in excess of 75,000 gallons per annum for each rental unit in such building or structure shall be billed as follows: $4.50 per 1,000 gallons of water used in excess of 75,000 gallons per annum.
