[Adopted 1-24-1989 (§§ 2-124 to 2-126 of the 1974 Code)]
The Development Commission, as established by the Newington Town Charter, shall have all the powers and duties as provided by the General Statutes of the State of Connecticut, as revised, the Town Charter, and other powers and duties as may be directed by the Newington Town Council.
The nine regular members of the Development Commission shall have staggered three-year terms expiring on November 30 as follows:
A. 
Two members for a term ending in an odd-numbered year.
B. 
Three members for a term ending in an even-numbered year.
C. 
Four members for a term ending in an odd-numbered year commencing the year after the even-numbered year appointment.
