The Board of Selectmen is authorized to establish
schedules of permit fees, as recommended by the Building Official,
Sanitarian and/or Town Clerk, when such fees are not otherwise established
by statute or ordinance. Such schedules shall be filed with the Town
Clerk upon adoption by the Board of Selectmen and may be revised from
time to time, in the same manner, to reflect changing costs.

A.
All permit
fees related to municipal projects on property owned by the Town of
Old Lyme or on property owned jointly by the Towns of Old Lyme and
Lyme shall be waived.
B.
All building
permit fees related to projects on properties owned by Regional School
District 18 in the Town of Old Lyme shall be waived.
C.
The Board
of Selectmen shall have the authority to waive a permit fee or fine
under such particular circumstances as the Board of Selectmen shall
determine warrant the waiver, so long as such permit fee or fine shall
not exceed $1,000.
