The Board of Selectmen, pursuant to C.G.S. § 4-124c,
is authorized to join in the formation of and become a member of the
regional organization known as the "Connecticut River Valley Council
of Elected Officials," which organization shall exist for the purposes
and possess those powers set forth in C.G.S. §§ 4-124c
through 4-124h, as amended.
