Article I Acceptance of Code by Inland Wetlands and Water Courses Commission

§ 380-1 Acceptance of renumbering of regulations.

The Inland Wetlands and Water Courses Regulations of the Town of Orange, County of New Haven, State of Connecticut, adopted by the Inland Wetlands and Water Courses Commission of the Town of Orange, as renumbered, revised and codified by General Code Publishers Corp., and consisting of Chapter 381, Inland Wetlands and Water Courses Regulations, of the Code of the Town of Orange, are hereby approved.

§ 380-2 Continuation of existing provisions.

The provisions of Chapter 381, insofar as they are substantively the same as those of regulations in force immediately prior to the acceptance of the Code, are intended as a continuation of such regulations and not as new enactments, and the effectiveness of such provisions shall date from the date of adoption of the prior regulation. All such provisions are hereby continued in full force and effect and are hereby reaffirmed as to their adoption by the Inland Wetlands and Water Courses Commission of the Town of Orange, and it is the intention of said Commission that each such provision contained within Chapter 381 of the Code is hereby reaffirmed as it appears in the Code.

§ 380-3 Changes in previously adopted regulations.

A. In compiling and preparing the regulations of the Inland Wetlands and Water Courses Commission of the Town of Orange for renumbering and revision as part of the Code, certain grammatical and other minor changes were made in said regulations. It is the intention of the Inland Wetlands and Water Courses Commission that all such changes be accepted as part of the regulations as if the regulations so changed had been previously formally adopted to read as such.

B. In addition, the following changes, amendments or revisions are made herewith to become effective upon the effective date of this enactment:

(1) In § 381-14, "Commission of Environmental Protection" is revised to read "Department of Environmental Protection."

(2) In § 381-38, "15 days" is corrected to read "14 days."

Article II Acceptance of Code by Plan and Zoning Commission

§ 380-4 Acceptance of renumbering of regulations.

The Subdivision and Zoning Regulations of the Town of Orange, County of New Haven, State of Connecticut, adopted by the Plan and Zoning Commission of the Town of Orange, as renumbered, revised and codified by General Code Publishers Corp., and consisting of Chapter 382, Subdivision Regulations, and Chapter 383, Zoning, of the Code of the Town of Orange, are hereby approved.

§ 380-5 Continuation of existing provisions.

The provisions of Chapters 382 and 383, insofar as they are substantively the same as those of regulations in force immediately prior to the acceptance of the Code, are intended as a continuation of such regulations and not as new enactments, and the effectiveness of such provisions shall date from the date of adoption of the prior regulation. All such provisions are hereby continued in full force and effect and are hereby reaffirmed as to their adoption by the Plan and Zoning Commission of the Town of Orange, and it is the intention of said Commission that each such provision contained within Chapters 382 and 383 of the Code is hereby reaffirmed as it appears in the Code.
