[HISTORY: Adopted 3-16-1953 by the Special Town Meeting
of the Town of Somers; amended in its entirety 4-29-1996 by the Board of Selectmen,
effective 5-23-1996. Subsequent amendments noted where applicable.]
The Town of Somers shall adopt the minimum State
Building Code adopted from the Basic Code of the Building Officials
Conference of America, Inc., being particularly the 1951 Edition thereof,
as amended from time to time, of which three copies have been and
now are filed in the office of the Town of Somers.
The effective date of the Building Code shall
be June 15, 1953.
