There is hereby established a Flood and Erosion
Control Board of the Town of Wallingford pursuant to the provisions
of Section 25-84 of the Connecticut General Statutes.
Said Board shall consist of seven members of
the Town Council of the Town of Wallingford to be appointed by the
Chairman of said Council with due consideration for the provisions
of Section 9-167a of the Connecticut General Statutes, Minority representation.
The remaining two members of the Town Council shall serve as alternate
members to said Board. The initial appointments shall be made at the
next scheduled meeting of the Town Council following the effective
date of this article, and future appointments shall be made from time
to time as the membership of the Council changes by election or otherwise.
Said Board shall have all the powers and duties
provided by Sections 25-84 through 25-94 of the Connecticut General
Statutes.
