Town of South Bethany, DE Chapter 37 Boating

§ 37-1 Authority.

This chapter is authorized by § C-4B of the Town Charter.

§ 37-2 Prohibited activities.

No person shall operate any watercraft within the waterways of the town in the following manner:

A. With an unreasonable and reckless disregard for the safety of persons or property; or

B. By causing a wake.

§ 37-3 Penalties for offenses.

Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall be subject to a civil penalty of not less than $25, nor more than $100, plus court costs. Each day of continued violation shall be considered as a separate offense.
