The regulations, restrictions, boundaries and
provisions of this chapter may from time to time be amended, supplemented,
changed, modified or repealed by the Town Council of South Bethany.
No amendment or supplement for change of this chapter shall become effective until after a public hearing by the Town Council in relation thereto, in order to provide an opportunity for interested persons to be heard. Notices of such hearing shall be posted 30 days prior thereto, as provided in § 145-58B(2).
Any amendment to this chapter approved by the Town Council, which shall have the effect of converting any district, as defined in Article VI, or any part thereof from single-family dwelling or commercial to any other district shall be effective only after approval in a referendum held at time of the regular election of the Town of South Bethany.
