Additional regulation of fences — See Ch. 123, § 123-20B.
Anyone choosing to erect or to maintain a fence or barrier across a driveway or other visible access usable by road vehicles shall ensure that such barrier is clearly visible. Barriers inherently difficult to see, such as those made of a single strand of chain, cable or similar material, shall be made easily visible by brightly colored attachments of at least 1/2 square foot in area per six linear feet of barrier.
Failure of a property owner to render a fence or barrier visible to the satisfaction of the Police Chief within 30 days of written notice of noncompliance shall be subject to a penalty of up to $50 per day thereafter.
