Any person violating any provision of an ordinance for the Village of Bellevue for which a penalty is not otherwise specified therein shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, in any court of competent jurisdiction shall be subject to a fine of not more than $500 or to imprisonment in the county jail for a period of not more than 90 days, or both such fine and imprisonment, and costs of prosecution.

The penalty provided in this article shall relate to amendments and additions to the ordinances of the Village of Bellevue, whether reenacted in the amendatory ordinance or not, unless such penalty is specifically repealed or amended therein.
A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which the violation occurred or continues.
