No person shall fire or discharge any firearm, air gun, bow and arrow or other mechanical device capable of discharging a missile or pellet, which might cause harm to persons or property anywhere in the City of Breckenridge, except as follows:
A. 
At a duly licensed target or shooting range.
B. 
When reasonably necessary to defend persons or property against imminent threatening attack of another person or against the imminent threatening attack of a diseased or vicious animal.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished as provided in Chapter 1, General Provisions, Article I, General Penalty.
