[HISTORY: Adopted by the Borough Council of the Borough of Alpine
as § 2-25 (Ord. No. 316) of the 1970 Revised General Ordinances.

Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40:23-6.26 to 6.29, the Borough
of Alpine, by its officers and agents, is authorized to enter into contracts
with the County of Bergen and other municipalities in the County of Bergen
to provide for the furnishing by the county to the borough of any service
or facility which the borough may otherwise lawfully furnish or provide to
the inhabitants of the borough or others. The proper municipal officials of
the borough are authorized and empowered to execute on behalf of the borough
all such contracts with the County of Bergen as may be authorized and approved
by resolution of the Council. Such contracts shall have a maximum term of
10 years and shall be subject to rescission by resolution of the Council upon
30 days' notice.
