Persons performing in the Public Works Department, Sewer, Water, Sanitation and Road Departments shall be paid time and a half of each person's hourly rate for overtime when approved by the department head and ratified by Borough Council. Overtime shall be deemed to be that number of hours worked by any employee in a given week in excess of 40 hours. A "week," as referred to herein, shall be deemed the calendar week beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday and ending at 12:00 midnight the next succeeding Saturday.

Wages to be paid to persons performing any other work for the Borough, said work being in an emergency, shall be paid no less than the federal minimum wage.

The salaries and wages specified herein shall take effect as of January 1, 2023.

This article shall take effect immediately after final passage and publication as provided by law, and the salary schedule shall continue in effect, beginning as of January 1, 2016, unless otherwise provided by law.
