The official title of this chapter is the "Allegheny
Township Junk Ordinance."
This chapter is adopted by virtue of the authority
granted to the Township pursuant to the Second Class Township Code
which authorizes the adoption and implementation of ordinances to
promote the health, safety and welfare of the community (53 P.S. § 66601,
53 P.S. § 66506) as well as to prohibit nuisances caused
by the accumulation of junk on private and public property (53 P.S.
§ 66529).
This chapter, including any succeeding amendments
thereto, shall be on file and available for inspection by the public
at the Allegheny Township Community Building.
