When any board, commission, committee or department of the Town of New Canaan, including the Board of Education, shall have determined that any supplies, materials or equipment of a value of $250 or more are obsolete, unusable or of no further use to the Town, the same shall be disposed of by sale under procedures established by the Board of Selectmen. [Amended 10-21-2009, effective 11-6-2009]

Upon receipt of any cash proceeds from the sale of such supplies, materials or equipment, the same shall be deposited in the general fund of the Town.
