A.Â
The appointing authority may suspend without pay any
employee under its jurisdiction for reasons of misconduct, negligence,
inefficiency, insubordination, disloyalty, unauthorized absence, or
other justifiable reasons.
B.Â
Any employee who is suspended may appeal in writing
to the Personnel Advisory Board within 10 days after such action is
taken.
A.Â
The appointing authority may dismiss any employee
for misconduct, inefficiency, or other just cause.
B.Â
Any employee who is dismissed shall be granted, prior
to the effective date of dismissal, a written statement setting forth
the reasons for such dismissal, and a copy of such statement shall
be filed in the Selectmen's office.
C.Â
Any employee who is dismissed may appeal in writing
to the Personnel Advisory Board within 10 days after such action is
taken.
