The Town of New Canaan hereby adopts and authorizes
the property tax exemption for solar energy heating or cooling systems
pursuant to Section 12-81(56)(a), (b) and (c) of the General Statutes
of Connecticut, Revision of 1958, as amended.
Section 57-11 of this ordinance shall apply to the taxes on the Grand List of each year commencing July 1, 1977, and shall continue in accordance with the provisions of the General Statutes relating to the tax exemption of solar energy systems.
