There is hereby created a Sikorsky Memorial Airport Noise Abatement Committee consisting of seven members as follows:
A. 
One member appointed by the Mayor or his designee.
B. 
One member appointed by Protect Your Environment.
C. 
Two members appointed by the Stratford Town Council who reside within the Lordship section of Stratford.

D. 
One member appointed by the Stratford Town Council who resides within the district of said Town of Stratford in which Sikorsky Memorial Airport is located.

E. 
Two members appointed by the Stratford Town Council from the Stratford electorate at large.
The purpose of said Committee shall be as follows:
A. 
To review all Federal Aviation Administration rules and regulations as the same pertain to noise abatement and airport operations.
B. 
To periodically review the operations of Sikorsky Memorial Airport in order to consider and recommend alternative methods to encourage and enhance noise abatement.
C. 
To make recommendations to the Stratford Town Council for possible actions it may take to abate objectionable airport noise.
D. 
To accept complaints from residents of the Town of Stratford on such objectionable noise and work with the management of said airport to rectify said complaints in a timely manner.
