Town of Stratford, CT Article I General Provisions

§ 47-1 Definitions.

As used in this chapter, the following terms will have the meanings indicated:

ALCOHOL

The product of distillation of any fermented liquid, rectified either once or more often, whatever may be the origin thereof, and includes synthetic ethyl alcohol which is considered nonpotable.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE

The same as defined in C.G.S. § 30-1, or any liquid as defined in § 47-1 of which the content is more than .05% of alcohol.

MINOR

Any person under the age of 21 years old.

PUBLIC WAY(S)

Any property that is owned, leased, operated, or maintained by the Town of Stratford, which includes, but is not limited to, public highways, parking lots, sidewalks, alleys or boulevards and any parking lot of 10 cars or more without the expressed permission of the owner.
