Words and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the Vehicle Code of Pennsylvania,[1] as now in force or as hereafter amended, enacted, or reenacted, except in those instances where the context clearly indicates a different meaning. The singular shall include the plural, and the masculine shall include the feminine.

Commencing 24 hours after a snowfall in excess of five inches and terminating 48 hours after said snowfall has stopped, parking shall be prohibited on the southern side of the streets within the Borough running east and west and on the eastern side of the streets within the Borough running north and south, and commencing 48 hours after said snowfall has stopped and continuing 72 hours after said snowfall, parking shall be prohibited on the northern side of the streets within the Borough running east and west and on the western side of the streets within the Borough running north and south.

Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable as set forth in the appropriate section of the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code.[1]
