No person shall hawk, peddle or deliver or cause
to be hawked, peddled or delivered on Sunday in the Town any goods,
wares, produce or merchandise whatsoever, except milk, butter, ice
cream or carbonated beverages, medicine, films, newspapers or emergency
fuel oil.
Any person violating the provisions of § 116-1 shall be subject to a fine not exceeding $50.
Section 116-1 shall not be construed to prevent the sale of farm produce from roadside stands owned and operated by the person upon whose land such produce was raised.
