Editor's Note: This chapter was derived from Sections 6.41 and 6.42 of the Town of Yarmouth Bylaws and was originally adopted 3-10-1964 and amended 4-9-1974.
It shall be unlawful for any person to consume alcoholic beverages on public highways, including vehicles thereon, or in public places not duly licensed for such purposes within the Town of Yarmouth.

It shall be unlawful for any person who has not attained the age of 21 years to consume or possess alcoholic beverages in public places within the Town of Yarmouth.

Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be subject to a fine of not to exceed $300 for each offense.

Not more than 10% of the occupancy load determined under State Building Code Section 606 (780 CMR 606) shall be assigned to standing space in any place of assembly licensed to sell alcoholic beverages. This section shall be enforced by the Yarmouth Building Inspection Department.
