Editor's Note: This chapter was derived from Section 6.54 of the Town of Yarmouth Bylaws and was originally adopted 4-9-1974.
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
YARD SALE
A casual sale of used household goods which is not in the ordinary course of the seller's trade or business.
The following restrictions apply to the conduct of yard sales:
A. 
No person shall conduct a yard sale in a residential zoning district more often than once in each calendar year without written permission of the Board of Selectmen.
B. 
No yard sale shall continue for more than two consecutive days.

Any person violating this chapter shall be punished by a fine of not more than $300 for each offense. Each day that a violation hereof exists shall be deemed a separate offense.
