Installation of electrical equipment shall comply with the most
recent Maine Department of Professional and Financial Regulation,
Electricians' Examining Board Rules, Chapter 120, Electrical Installation
Standards.
The Electrical Code Ordinance of the Town of Topsham entitled
the "National Electrical Code, 2008 Edition," and all other ordinances
or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Electrical permits are required for the installation of wires
and fixtures for new construction, additions to existing structures
and repairs to structures that alter the existing wiring.
Exception: low energy such as but not limited to fire alarms,
building control systems, etc.
