Any individual, partnership, corporation or public or private entity proposing to widen, enlarge, alter or relocate any public or private right-of-way within which are situated any municipally owned or operated sewer and/or water mains and/or other related facilities shall, prior to the widening, enlarging, altering or relocating of such right-of-way, submit to and have approved by the Township Engineer and appropriate state agency having jurisdiction a detailed plan for the relocation and/or protection of such mains and/or other related facilities to a location at or near the extremities of such right-of-way.
The relocation plan submitted to the Township Engineer shall be prepared by a licensed professional engineer of the State of New Jersey and shall include plans and profiles of sufficient scale and of sufficient detail to provide for a complete and independent review.
Violations of the provisions of this article shall be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, Article II, General Penalty.
