As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
RECREATIONAL MOTOR VEHICLE
All vehicles propelled otherwise than by muscular power which are used primarily for recreational purposes, including, but not limited to, motorized bicycles, mopeds, all-terrain vehicles, go-carts, motorized dirt bikes and dune buggies.
A. 
No person shall use, operate, drive or ride in or upon or permit the use, operation, driving or riding of a recreational motor vehicle upon any private property or lot within the Township except:
(1) 
The lot is more than four acres in area;
(2) 
All operation of the recreational vehicle is confined to an area at least:
(a) 
One hundred feet from a public street or roadway; and
(b) 
Fifty feet from all adjacent lot lines.
(3) 
Operation of the recreational vehicle occurs between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
B. 
No person owning or having custody of a recreational motor vehicle as defined herein, whether registered or unregistered, shall allow the vehicle to be operated in areas prohibited herein by a minor.
C. 
Operation of a recreational motor vehicle by a person unable to ambulate without assistance from another person, a cane, crutches, walker, wheelchair or other similar device shall not be deemed a violation of this section when such recreational vehicle is being used for ambulatory assistance.
