As used in this chapter, the following words
shall have the following meanings:
Any person that has obtained a permit to engage in a business
activity.
The Division of Streets of the Department of Public Works
of the City of Trenton.
A license which permits a person to sell a product or service
and/or conduct a business activity.
All private property and public property.
Property affecting or belonging to a person. [1]
Property belonging to the City, or the aggregate of the citizens
of the City. [2]
Includes such surface provided for the use of pedestrians.
All that area dedicated to public use for public street purposes
and shall include, but not be limited to, roadways, parkways, alleys
and sidewalks and air space above such surfaces.
The Superintendent of the Division of Streets.
Includes, without limitation, a condition which:
Endangers the safety of persons or property.
Unreasonably interferes with or impedes the
flow of pedestrians or vehicular traffic, including any legally parked
or stopped vehicles.
Unreasonably interferes with ingress or egress
from any residence or place of business.
Interferes with the use of traffic signs or
signals, hydrants or mailboxes permitted at or near a licensed pay
telephone.
Creates or contributes to criminal, disorderly
persons or petty disorderly offenses and/or is in violation of City
ordinances.
The provisions of this chapter shall be administered
and enforced by the Division of Streets of the Department of Public
Works.
