The purpose of this article is to require a
Town Dog Control Officer of the Town of Hyde Park to be a resident
of the County of Dutchess or, in the event such a person is appointed
Dog Control Officer of the Town of Hyde Park, such a person must live
within the confines of the County of Dutchess prior to any permanent
appointment.
This article is to specifically indicate that
under the Public Officers Law a Dog Control Officer is considered
to be a Town officer.
This article shall apply to any and all appointments
for Dog Control Officers on and after the date this article shall
take effect.
