[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Board of the
Town of Mamaroneck 8-23-2000 by L.L. No. 11-2000. Amendments noted
where applicable.]
This chapter shall be known as "Removal from
Boards, Commissions, Council and Committees of the Town of Mamaroneck."
The intent of the chapter is to specify the
number of absences allowed before members of boards, commissions,
councils and committees of the Town of Mamaroneck are subject to be
removed.
Persons appointed to serve on boards, commissions,
councils and committees of the Town of Mamaroneck are subject to removal
from office by reason of three unexplained absences within a twelve-month
period. Failure to notify the Chairman of the Board, etc., prior to
the meeting shall be considered an unexplained absence.
