This article shall apply only to that part of the Town of Mamaroneck outside of incorporated villages, and whenever and wherever the words "Town of Mamaroneck" are used, such words shall mean the Town of Mamaroneck outside of incorporated villages.

For the purpose of this article, the terms used herein are defined as follows:
PERSON
Includes individuals, copartnerships, corporations and incorporated and joint-stock associations.

It shall be unlawful for any person, at any time, to fire, discharge or cause to be fired or discharged any gun, cannon, rifle, air rifle, pistol or firearm of any kind or slingshot. This section shall not apply to peace officers in the discharge of their official duties nor to persons using firearms in necessary self-defense and in a careful manner nor to bona fide gun clubs or shooting galleries nor to persons using firearms in a careful manner in said shooting galleries.
A. 
Any person violating any of the provisions of this article, as the same may be amended from time to time, for which no other penalty is provided, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not more than one year or by a fine of not more than $500, or both.

B. 
Additional penalties.

(1) 
Violation of § 100-3 of this article shall subject the offender, for each offense, to a civil penalty not to exceed $100.
(2) 
The penalty for violation as above provided shall be in addition to any fine provided for in § 100-4A.
(3) 
Every day or part thereof that such violation shall continue shall be deemed to be a separate and distinct violation of said several provisions of this article and shall render every person liable for a separate penalty for each such violation.
