Parts of buildings which already project beyond the building line may be maintained as constructed, provided that the Building Inspector or Director of Building Code Enforcement and Land Use Administration of the Town of Mamaroneck has certified that the maintenance of such encroachment shall not in any way endanger the public or adjoining properties.
