The purpose of this chapter is to establish fire safety zones within the Town of Mamaroneck pursuant to authority under the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.
The following locations shall be designated as fire safety zones based upon the recommendation of the Chief of the Fire Department. Markings and signage shall be installed by the property owner in accordance with New York State regulations within 60 days' notice of designation from the Town Building Department or Fire Department.
A. 
Boston Post Road (presently Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company): commencing at the New York State right-of-way at the front entrance of the building for a distance of 50 feet from the right-of-way northeast into the property, 20 feet wide.
B. 
Boston Post Road (presently Eastchester Savings Bank): at the north entrance to the building 20 feet wide and a distance of 50 feet along the east face of the building.
C. 
Boston Post Road (presently Finast): the entire Weaver Street side of the building face, 20 feet wide.
D. 
Boston Post Road (presently Village Square Shopping Center): 268 feet along the entire length of the east frontage of the buildings, 20 feet wide; and for 10 feet on either side of the Siamese connection located at the southeast retaining wall fronting Boston Post Road.
E. 
Murray Avenue (presently Murray Avenue School): 400 feet of Daymon Terrace along the rear of the building; and 400 feet of Murray Avenue along the front of the building.
F. 
Saxon Woods Country School, 2 Fairway Drive: the length from the southwest entry 100 feet into the circular drive and along the front of the building.

G. 
Madison Avenue (presently Clocktower Building): on Myrtle Boulevard for 10 feet on each side of the Siamese connection.
H. 
Boston Post Road (presently High Tech Car Wash): commencing at the New York State right-of-way at the north entrance of the property for a distance of 50 feet from the right-of-way on Boston Post Road northeast into the property, 20 feet wide.
I. 
Boston Post Road (presently Augie's Restaurant): commencing at the New York State right-of-way at the entrance along the northeast side of the building for a distance of 30 feet from the right-of-way southeast into the property, 20 feet wide.
J. 
Palmer Avenue apartments: entrance driveway on the southwest side of the building and the entire circle at the southwest entrance of the building.
K. 
Winged Foot Country Club, Fenimore Road: the entire circular driveway at the north, main entrance to the clubhouse and the circular driveway in front of the east, grill door of the clubhouse.

Bonnie Briar Country Club, Weaver Street: the entire circular driveway located at the front entrance of the clubhouse.

Larchmont Acres West No. 1 to No. 4 Richbell Road: commencing at the Richbell Road Town right-of-way at the north side of the access road, 150 feet west to and including the circular driveway between buildings 1, 2 and 3 and then along the south side of the same access road, 190 feet east, ending again at the Town right-of-way.

N. 
Larchmont Acres East No. 5 to No. 7: commencing at the Town of Mamaroneck line at the west side of the access road 180 feet south to and including the circular driveway between buildings 6, 7 and 8 and then along the east side of the access road 130 feet north ending at the Town of Mamaroneck line.

Hommocks Ice Rink, Hommocks Road:

(1) 
Commencing at the front entry of the ice rink along the emergency service road at the side and rear of the building 400 feet to the southwesterly corner of the building, then to the parking lot edge, then; northwesterly 160 feet by 24 feet wide, along the paved area at the rear of the service building, then; beginning at a point 40 feet from the northeasterly corner of the service building, northwesterly 100 feet along the rear fenced area, between the rink and the school to the northeasterly corner of the rink building and, then; westerly 200 feet along the front of the rink building ending at the front entry.
(2) 
The driving lane of the parking area behind the rink shall be included, with a striped entry path, 24 feet wide and 130 feet long from the current road entrance ending at the rear of the service building.
(3) 
The access area at the Town parking lot along the pool fence shall have the "No Parking Between Signs" changed to a fire lane prohibition with the paved area in front striped to maintain emergency equipment access.
P. 
Larchmont Diner, 2399 Boston Post Road: commencing at the northwesterly corner 100 feet east along the retaining wall ending at the customer parking area.

Q. 
Ferndale Shopping Center, 1330 Boston Post Road: commencing at a point 75 feet east of the easterly corner of the building, 230 feet west to the northwesterly corner of the property, then westerly 300 feet along the rear property line and then south 140 feet along the interior lot line, then; along the south wall of the building 320 feet ending at the corner of the building.

Gap/Gap Kids, 1340 Boston Post Road: commencing at the northeast corner of the building northwest along the building, 80 feet ending at the northwest corner of the building; also, commencing at the southwest corner of the building northeast 35 feet along the side of the building, ending at the loading zone.

Hommocks Park Apartments, 2-116 Hommocks Road: commencing at the northwesterly driveway at Hommocks Road southwest 200 feet between the line of garages, then; 100 feet southeast along the rear wall of Building No. 4, then; northeast 200 feet between the line of garages ending at the southeasterly driveway at Hommocks Road.

T. 
Giant Carpet, 1329 Boston Post Road: commencing at the southwest corner of the building 15 feet southeast along Old Hommocks Road to access the Siamese Connection for the building's fire sprinklers.

Beginnings Early Learning Center, 685 Weaver Street: commencing at the driveway intersection with Weaver Street, 100 feet northwest along the driveway and around the small turnaround area.

CVS/Staples Shopping Center, 2440-2444 Boston Post Road: commencing at the northwest corner of the building south along the building line 275 feet ending at the southwest corner of the building nearest Boston Post Road.

Badger Day Camp, 119 Rockland Avenue: commencing at the edge of Rockland Road at the service entry road 750 feet along the length of the road south and east into the property.

Mamaroneck Town Center, 740 West Boston Post Road: commencing at the northwest corner of the parking lot at the front entry area 150 feet northwest along the south side of the roadway ending adjacent to the police vehicle parking area.[1]
