It has been determined that it is in the best
interest of the Township of Bernards to create a radio station and
the position of Radio Station Coordinator.

The Township of Bernards is the holder of a
license from the Federal Communications Commission to operate a Traveler's
Information Station at a frequency of 1620 KHz.

There is hereby established in the administrative
and executive services of the Township, a Radio Station Coordinator
responsible for the operation, management of and training of personnel
to operate the radio station.

The Radio Station Coordinator shall be the Bernards
Township Emergency Management Coordinator.

The radio station shall be operated consistent
with Federal Communications Commission rules and regulations and Township
policy. The Township policy will be adopted by resolution of the Township
Committee and may be changed or modified from time to time.
