No person shall fish from any of the docks or boat basins owned
or maintained by the Town of East Hampton between the hours of sunset
and sunrise.
Any violation of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punishable
by a fine of not more than $25, or imprisonment for not more than
10 days, or both such fine and imprisonment.

It shall be unlawful for any person to dive from, or swim within
50 feet of, any of the town-owned docks, bulkheads, jetties, breakwaters,
landing floats or similar structures in or adjacent to any of the
waters within or bounding the Town of East Hampton.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance
shall be guilty of a violation, and upon conviction thereof be punishable
by a fine not exceeding $250 for each offense or by imprisonment for
a term not exceeding more than 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon publication
and posting as required by law.
