No person shall extinguish any streetlight, nor extinguish or remove any light placed to denote an obstruction or defect in any street or way, without proper authority. Violation of this section will be punishable by a fine as set in Chapter 85, Enforcement; Noncriminal Disposition, of the Code of the Town of Webster, plus the cost incurred by the Town to bring said light(s) back to their normal operating condition.
No person shall intermeddle with any hydrant, gate, gatebox, or water placed or located within the limits of any public street or way without permission from the Director or Superintendent of the Department of Public Works.
