A.
There shall be a Department of Assessments, the head
of which shall be known as the "Director of the Department of Assessments."
The Director shall also occupy the position of Township Assessor of Taxes.
He shall be appointed by the Township Manager and shall be subject to his
jurisdiction and control.
B.
The Director of the Department of Assessments shall perform
and exercise all the powers, duties and functions now or hereafter vested
in or conferred upon the Township Assessor of Taxes by the Optional Municipal
Charter Law,[1] applicable general law or other ordinances of the Township.
