§ 17-1 Council established; membership.

A. A Local Defense Council, with powers and duties prescribed by general law, is hereby created in the Township.

B. The said Council shall consist of no more than 15 persons. They shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Township Manager.

§ 17-2 Disaster Control Director; Chairman.

The Municipal Disaster Control Director shall be a member of the Local Defense Council and shall serve as Chairman of the said Council.
